Faculty

Nancy Drooker, Ph.D., has taught psychoanalytic couple therapy for NCSPP and graduate courses in human sexuality. She works with adults, couples, and seniors in a private practice in Oakland and San Francisco.

Dori Dubin, Psy.D., LCSW, BCD-P, is a graduate, faculty member, and training and supervising analyst at PINC. She is a faculty member and supervisor at The Psychotherapy Institute (TPI). Dr. Dubin teaches object relations theory, mind-body issues, trauma and primitive mental states throughout the Bay Area.

Michael J. Krasny, Ph.D., a radio broadcaster, is senior editor of KQED-FM radio’s award-winning Forum, a news and public affairs program he has hosted since 1993. Krasny, who has taught English at San Francisco State University since 1970, is a widely published scholar, critic, and fiction writer.

Kimberlyn Leary, Ph.D., is a psychoanalyst, an associate professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School, and an associate professor of health policy and management at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, where she is the “Enabling Change” program director. Dr.

Janie Riley, LMFT, is a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst with a private practice in Oakland. She is on the faculty at PINC and supervises and teaches throughout the Bay Area. She has also served in several clinical and leadership roles in the public health and community mental health sectors.

Sue Saperstein, Psy.D., MFT, is a personal and supervising analyst and faculty member at PINC. She supervises for NCSPP, Access Institute, CPMC, and Chinese American Psychoanalytic Association. Dr. Saperstein has written on psychoanalytic ethics, and has taught in the areas of trauma and group psychology.
