Community Service Award

The NCSPP Community Service Award is an annual award presented for outstanding community service by an individual or a mental health organization in the field of psychoanalytic psychology.

We are committed to the study of psychoanalytic psychology and to encourage its interest in Northern California's professional and general communities.
 

NCSPP’s varied array of learning opportunities; our journal fort da; our e-newsletter Impulse; and numerous special events and projects are all brought to you by scores of volunteers who work to support NCSPP’s mission. Our educational programs include continuing education credit for Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.

My name is Theresa Tan, and I am an early career psychologist, working both in-person in Oakland and virtually. In my short time in private practice, I am discovering new ways of being with child and adult patients that I couldn’t quite do in training.
